Tuesday Note, November 3, part 2

A paper Tuesday note was sent home today, but I just found a rather large number of leftovers, so if you did not get one, please ask for one, unless you don't need it. It's actually the same as my earlier blog, except for a note that starting on Monday, November 9, all assignments must be done in cursive.

Recorders
Amazingly, everyone was in school today, so we started recorders. Some of the kids took them home to practice, for which I apologize. They have permission to do this as long as they bring it back to school the next day. Normally recorder class will be on Thursdays, but based on past attendance, I may just have a mini-class any time they are all present. If your child is practicing, the goal is to play without squeaking, and the best thing to do is remind them to blow more softly. That's the problem we had today. If you think hearing one is bad, try listening to 24!!!!
